Khatu Shyam Ji Temple is a famous pilgrimage site located in Khatu village of Sikar district at a distance of 46 km from Sikar city. Devotees have great faith in this temple. Every year on the auspicious occasion of Holi, a fair of Khatu Shyam Ji is held here.

At this fair, devotees and tourists from all over the country and abroad come to visit Baba Khatu Shyam Ji. This temple has great importance in the tourist places of Sikar.

A story is prevalent for the origin and recognition of this temple. According to this Khatu Shyam Baba had incarnated as “Barbarik”, the grandson of Bhima and son of Ghatotkach in the Mahabharata period.

Barbarik was a very brave and strong warrior since childhood. And was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Pleased with his devotion, Lord Shiva had given him three arrows as a boon. Because of this boon, Barbarik was called “three arrows”.

Seeing the horrific war of Mahabharata, Barbarik expressed his desire to witness the war, he took permission from his mother to go to war and went towards war with all three arrows.

Jeenmata is a village of religious importance in the Sikar district. It is situated at a distance of 29 km from Sikar city in the south.

There is an ancient temple dedicated to Jeen Mata (goddess of power). The temple of Jeen Mata is considered holy, it is believed that this temple is a thousand years old. A colorful festival is held at the temple twice a year in the Hindu months of Chaitra and Ashwin during Navaratri in which lakhs of devotees and tourists participate.

The Harshanth Temple, belonging to the 10th century, is situated on the Aravalli hills near Sikar. It is an ancient site famous for the old Shiva temple (10th century) ruins. The remains of an ancient Shiva temple can be seen at the site.

Ganeshwar is a village in Neem Ka Thana Tehsil of Sikar District. Ganeshwar is a pilgrimage as well as a fun picnic spot. Here there is a big pool of sulphurous hot water. In which hot water coming out of a natural stream is collected.

Bathing in this pool is considered to be of great importance, it is believed that bathing in it cures skin diseases. This is an ancient site. Excavations in Ganeshwar areas have revealed the remains of 4000 years old civilizations.

Red pottery was found here along with copper items. They were estimated to be 2500-2000 BC. About a thousand pieces of copper were found there.Ganeshwar is located near the copper mines of the Sikar-Jhunjhunu region of the Khetri copper belt in Rajasthan.

The excavation revealed copper objects including arrowheads, spears, fish hooks, bangles, and chisels. With its microliths and other stone tools, the Ganesha culture can be dated to the pre-Harappan period. Ganesha mainly supplied copper objects to Harappa.
